Wedding Shows | The Newmarket Wedding Show

Twice a year in January & September, we gather all our wedding exhibition gear together and head over to the Millenium Grandstand at the Rowley Mile Racecourse, Newmarket for one of Cambridgeshire's biggest wedding shows, The Newmarket Wedding Show.
The show is rather big with some 130 exhibitors over 3 floors so we thought we'd share some tips with you for getting the most out of the show.

• If you haven't already, you should really pre-book a fast track ticket to The Newmarket Show which gets you straight into the show without queuing
• Get a floor plan of the exhibitors and if you can, prioritise who you'd like to see first
• Don't rush, take your time and look carefully at what each supplier is able to offer
• Take details of preferred suppliers, they will all have cards, brochures or flyers and make a note on the literature if you like what they offer. It's amazing how quickly you can forget who was offering what!
• Don't be shy and leave your contact details with suppliers you are particularly interested in but don't be forced to do so if you really are not interested!
• Why not take your bridal party - it's a great day out and they're a fantastic source of inspiration and ideas
• Have a plan of what you need. You''ll go home with a greater sense of achievement if you're able to tick some items off
• And finally, cake. Eat cake! Cake bakers are one of the few suppliers who can offer 'try before you buy' at wedding shows and are a firm favourite with visitors

As wedding photographers, we really do enjoy exhibiting at Wedding Shows. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet not only potential new wedding couples but couples who have already secured our wedding photography
